WALNUT OIL, SALT + SOY SAUCE

It can all only mean one thing ...

STIR-FRY DINNER!
It just needs:
  • a stir-fry vegetable pack
  • parsley
  • celery
  • red onions
  • and crab sticks
And of course you can't forget the homemade egg fried rice.

WHEN I HAD MY 24TH

Birthday Bouquet!
My 24th was my most simple birthday, and one of the best and most memorable!
For some reason I was feeling a little depressed at turning 24 but after having a pep talk with myself - I "sucked it up and got over it" and receiving an awesome gift did help too. And you know what that gift was? My birthday cake! It wasn't just any cake but my favourite - red velvet cake, which my cousin ( who was all the way in America at the time ) had ordered and had sent to me ... and man did I feel special!
What can I say - I am a sentimental softie.

My flowers, so cute and pretty - a gift from my mother and aunt.

Thank you Dahni - you most definately made me smile.

OLD POST-NEW BLOG : I THINK I'M IN ❤ WITH CAFFE CONCERTO

And after seeing the pictures how can you not?!

Caffe Concerto is filled with the kind of cakes that just by looking at them your face alone gains about 10 stone! It is like the  ultimate temptation, well one of many out there for me. A deep sense of infatuation and awe takes over whenever I pass one of the cafes - the window spread is pretty impressive.
Contrary to the mass believe that high end cafes = snobbery, the staff were nice, and most importantly the cake was grrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!

There are various of them spread around London's West End but there are only two that always stop me in my tracks ... the one in Regent Street & the other on Haymarket - both of them near Piccadilly Circus.
The cakes are to die for and leave you mouthwatering! I love the attention to details on the cakes & other delicious things they make. My personal favourite is in Haymarket because fashion programmes are always on :p

The store manager for the Haymarket branch was kind enough to let me photograph some of the cakes & as you can tell I got a little carried away.
And if it hasn't already - Let the mouth watering commence ...

I❤Caffe Concerto!
& with that I shall bid you goodnight & sweet, devishly delicious dreams ...

CABANA! CABANA! CABANA!

Cabana - Brasilian BBQ
Cabana is one of my favourite restaurants, it's a place where me and my friends have come to haunt quite often. The service is a little slow but I can forgive that a little because the food is amazing - being an Angolan living in London, it's nice to be reacquainted with familiar foods and snacks without having to either make it. Although Angola and Brazil are completely different countries, there is some cuisine that members of the CPLP (Community of Portuguese Language Countries) have in common.

Guaranaaaaaa! I love this drink

Omg the food - absolutely amazing! Pulled pork buns, sweet potato fries, malagueta chicken burger, malagueta chicken, pork and guava sausages ... and no, that was not all for one - my best friend helped too.

The restaurant doesn't just bring a sample of brasilian food to you but also a little of the atmosphere from the streets of Sao Paulo.

Mmm - finished!
